Scott Bresler, Ph.D., is a licensed psychologist specializing in inpatient and outpatient behavioral health services at The Christ Hospital. His areas of interest include providing expert diagnostic and treatment interventions for adults struggling with psychotic disorders, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma-based disorders, neurocognitive disorders, and personality disorders. He has specialized expertise in risk assessment and management of anger disorders, aggression, and suicidality.
Dr. Bresler completed his undergraduate studies at Columbia University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology followed by a Master of Arts in the Teachers College. He continued his studies to obtain a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology before earning his Doctoral Degree, both at Georgia State University.
Dr. Bresler has experience coordinating and implementing psychological and neurocognitive assessments, providing fitness for duty evaluations, and threat assessment consultation. He has provided consultation for various corporate entities, police agencies, and universities in the region. Additionally, Dr. Bresler has extensive experience preparing forensic assessments, and he has testified in numerous criminal and civil cases in courts around the country.
