Dr. Olshavsky received her undergraduate degree from Miami University in Oxford, OH. She attended medical school and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, where she was also chief resident.
Dr. Olshavsky received the 2007 Cincinnati Obstetrics and Gynecology Society Award and the 2011 Esprit de Corps Award, a peer-selected award granted to the obstetrics and gynecology resident who best exemplifies the spirit of cooperation and congeniality. Also in 2011, she received the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine Judy Griffis Gynecologic Oncology Resident Award.
Dr. Olshavsky has also worked as a research assistant at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center and has published numerous scientific publications and presentations in her field. She has volunteered as a rape crisis counselor at the Community Counseling and Crisis Center in Oxford, Ohio and is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
